I am a resident of Nepal.

As Nepal is an underdeveloped country, we have very few jobs which may

considerably high amount for easy life. My family including me could hardly earn around 300 dollars
per month. With that money we need to manage our house for whole month, in such a scenario I
cannot pay the fee of the course which is holding me back for the major career boost in my field. So,
I’m badly in need of this financial aid. If i am provided with the financial aid of this course it will open
the new horizon for me in the field of structural engineering. It would open new opportunities for
me to get chance for higher pay job. There are many vital skill courses offered in coursera and if we
people from underdeveloped nation could get financial aid for several basic course than later, we
can also aid coursera in return.

I have recently completed my bachelor's degree in civil engineering with several course of structural
engineering as my electives. For instance, steel structures, dynamics etc which clearly depicts my
interest in the field of structural engineering. I am doing job in construction field because I lack
proper skills for the job of consulting field that is designing of structures. So, this course will be a
milestone in my life to direct my career towards structural field. Also, I am planning to enrol Ms in
structural engineering course, so i believe I must possess good skills of Autodesk software to get me
ready for that. Furthermore, Autodesk certificate is highly valued certificate which is going to help
me a lot for the high pay jobs too, so this course will initiate a path for it.

I am planning to complete all the assessment on time. I hope that my enthusiasm will be
appreciated.

No for the people of underdeveloped country. As, we hardly earn 200 dollars per month at the
starting career in our field and with that money we need to manage everything. But if courses are
offered at minimum rate, we could manage to learn many courses which we is not possible right
now due to our financial problem.
