Background

School is not just a place for learning but it is also a place to develop our
ownselves. Students does not only limit their learnings inside the four walls of the
classroom but also they learn many things outside of it. Students tend to spend their
time more in school, not just in the classroom but in other areas in school where they
feel comfortable to study with, having a conversation and fun time with their friends and
even spending an alone time for themselves from the exhausting and tiring day in
school. However, the importance of school's benches plays a vital role in giving comfort
for the students to better enjoy their stay in school. And making this benches more
attractive, cleaner and presentable to see, students will much enjoy their stay while
using this school property.

And as we consider school as our second home, home truly reflects to ourselves.
We, students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines noticed that our university’s
bench chairs whether at freedom park or catwalk benches were covered or marked with
an unclean substance. As part of our almost a week life coming to school and passing
these chairs makes us feel unpleasant not just for ourselves but also to those who are
not bona fide persons of PUP. We can’t blame them on how they think and look about
our campus.

As students of Sintang Paaralan, it is for us to understand that these benches

were old which also means that we should be those who’s responsible in taking care of
it, same as to be disciplined. In saying, our goal is to clean or even paint the existing
condition of the benches in our outmost limit and making this benches more presentable
and cleaner to make students become more comfortable when spending there time
sitting in this benches that would positively affect there daily mood as well as their
performances. Because a good surrounding leads a good and much more inspiring day.

In summary, we presented the possible layout for the accomplishment of the plan
regarding the recoating of the walls and bench chair in Polytechnic University of the
Philippines-Main building. We chose the best.

Quality of paint with lesser cost and the items needed for repainting the walls and
bench chair were listed down. Estimation of the possible expenses were done and
afterwards, budget allocation for those items were made.

Thus, we have selected the brand of items with best quality yet cheaper in price needed
for recoating the walls and bench chair. Then the possible result of the PUP benches
would be presentable, conducive, and much comfortable for every student to use.
