I recently ran across an argument against the Jehovah’s Witness explanation of John
17:3, which is one of their primary proof texts used to attack the doctrine of the Trinity.
Here the JW’s argue that since The Father is said by Jesus to be the only True God,
then Jesus cannot also be the True God. The counter­argument is given as follows:
