Mexico's credibility on the world stage and to the environment, since Mexico committed to
generate 35% of its electricity from clean energy sources by 2024, which according to the
current policies does not seem feasible.
Mexico undoubtedly needs additional renewable generation to reduce its dependence on old
diesel and fuel plants to complement the growing number of combined cycle plants being
developed across the country. This will go a long way in helping to reduce energy costs and
greenhouse gas emissions from electricity generation. From the perspective of energy
prices, the average cost of CFE's diesel and fuel oil plants is around USD 90 / MWh and
USD 60 / MWh respectively, which is significantly higher than the energy price achieved by
CFE in long-term auctions. Prices for these auctions ranged from USD 30-40 / MWh, which
is considerably lower than CFE prices today.
Energy help us with many things which can be for the life or it can help you in your work as
the principal producer of what you doing but there is no only one renewable energy .
There are many renewable energies that are:
Wind power that is created by a windmill an that is what take the wind and produces energy.
The geothermal power takes the heat of many things and creates energy.
The hydroelectric is when a machine works and produce energy.
Tidal wave takes the water and produce energie.
Solar energy can be used with solar panels that takes the x rays from the sun and creates
energy.
Waveform energy is created also by water but with other process.
Biomass energy is created by human for example when you make exercise you make your
own energy.
