Subject: Review of Online Classes conducted by University

Introduction:
Director of University Institute of Legal Studies asked Class Representatives to
conduct a survey on online classes, being conducted by university. The survey was
conducted and results are compiled below.

Background:
Chandigarh University for timely completion of semester, introduced new method of
teaching and learning process i.e. online classes through BLACKBOARD INC. Students
were suggested to make arrangements according to the needs. Classes took off from
21st July,2020.

Methodology:
CR took this survey from one to one call method. 7 questions were asked from
students.

Findings:
Out of class of 114 students, response was recorded and noted down of 97 students,
Out of 97 students 63 reported connectivity issue from university side. 78 find log
in issues with Blackboard app. 80 students reported health issues due to online
classes.

Conclusions:
In conclusion, it is compiled that university's decision is not so welcomed, though
it is much appreciated that they thought about our good future and started classes
early but they should also rectify issues which are on their side. Major negative
response came from J&K students as only 2G is working there and university has no
relief policy for them yet.

Suggestion:
University should stop online classes with immediate effect and wait for
government's instruction to reopen universities. Syllabus should also be curtailed.
