OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION

COVID-19 ICF 2020 POSTPONEMENT

Rome, Italy
March 12, 2020

Dear ICF 2020 registered participants,

As President of the Giovani del Mondo Association, we would like to follow-up on my previous communication, dated
March 5, regarding the postponement of Rome International Carriers Festival 2020 as a result of the CoVid-19 emergency and
the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) of the Italian Republic dated March 4, 2020.

Notwithstanding the fact that we understand the feeling of frustration and disappointment many of you might have
experienced in the last few days and our efforts to hold the event until the very last moment, due to force majeure, we had to
comply with the measures taken by the government and the aforementioned decree.

Over the last days, we have held several emergency meetings with our Association Board and we are working hard to
identify new dates that could be compatible with all subjects and structures involved in the organization of our event.

The uncertain evolution of this health situation does not allow for clear and precise forecasts, yet hoping the CoVid-
19 emergency will soon be over, we are investigating the possibility that Rome International Careers Festival 2020 would take
place in Fall this year. An official communication will follow, as soon as we have verified its feasibility and we will have the final
dates.

As you can imagine, given the extraordinary nature and seriousness of the events that took place on the eve of our
Festival, succeeding in its realization is a great organizational, and not only economic effort.

Under this perspective, we are working to try to hold all fees paid and scholarships awarded as fully valid for eligible
participants who wish to confirm their participation to the 2020 edition in the dates and following the procedures that we will
soon define.

For those who will wish to withdraw their participation, they will be able to fully transfer their paid fees to a third-
party, by filling in the appropriate application, provided the third-party satisfies the participation pre-requirements. For
scholarship holders, notwithstanding the fact that scholarships will remain valid, they will not be eligible for transfer it to a
third-party. For those participants with a group rate, special agreement rate or special arrangements, your policy will be
discussed with your institution’s representatives directly. Similarly, we will separately define and verify all those cases of
participants, who have not been granted a Schengen visa.

We highly appreciate the understanding and the support you demonstrated during these difficult days.

Kind regards,

Dr. Daniela Conte
