reach products. They don’t have any investment on stock.


 C&F agents organises company meetings, stores goods, distributes etc. They get
commissions apart from warehouse rent and other benefits
 Modern trade like reliance, bigbazaar etc. negotiate directly with manufacturer, maybe get
delivery locally.
 Intensive distribution is for impulse products
 Exclusive distribution is for company owned stores.
 Company owned outlets are not for the purpose of sales mainly, but instead brand building
and promotion
 Strategic decisions are taken mostly in a gap of 3-5 years
 Tactical decisions are taken to fulfil strategic decisions, hence taken in short intervals.
