Welcome students and parents to the 2020-2021school year at El Paso High School. My name is Ms. Salcido
and I will be your teacher for one of the following classes:

AP Seminar
OnRamps Rhetoric

This will be my ninth-year teaching here at El Paso HS. I am a graduate of English Literature and Creative
Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you. I
have high expectations that I know each of you are capable of meeting. I’m excited to see what each of you can
add to the class.

I know that this year presents new challenges, but with patience and determination, I believe we can make this
school year a great one!
