Teachers are considered as the main pills of our educational system. The personal

and professional development of teachers puts direct impact on student achievement. In

government schools teachers are very old but academic course change every year. No

proper trainings are conducted to update the knowledge of the teacher, still having low

qualification and use the typical style to teach the students. Mostly teachers know little or

nothing about the new concepts included in the new curriculum. Under qualified teachers

are appointed who cannot effectively manage the process of teaching.

Unqualified teachers in both public schools and private schools only harms students

because they don’t know what to teach and how to teach students. For example in my

institution where my TLE teachers are not qualified to teach for that subject so they are not

contributing anything. They will just sit at the back let the students discuss even though the

discussion are not relevant or somehow wrong but still the teacher does not know that the

students discuss is wrong.

Students that are being taught by teachers not qualified in the subject they are

teaching, threatening the quality of their education because it could not give unreliable data

because teachers will just pass the students and does not have any standards.

Teachers are considered very important pillar in nation building. Qualified teachers

play very important role not only in their profession but also in grooming of students. And

this will end with a quote “Nemo Dat Quod Non Habet.”
