Biography - Quartet Rheinsaiten ’20

The Quartet Rheinsaiten, consisting of four young guitarists, was


founded in 2013 and now active in the formation:
Miguel Mandelli, Luke Pan, Niklas Halm and Daniel März.
The name originated itself in the first assamble, the founding members
lived on different sides of the Rheine river in Rheinland in
Cologne/Düsseldorf area.
They decided at young age by their own interest to rehearse and give
concerts.
The guitarists live in different cities (Köln, Aachen and Jüchen) and the
rehearsal are regularly made in the Hochschule für Tanz und Musik
Köln.
They all Study at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Campus Köln
and Aachen) with Prof. Hubert Käppel and Prof. Hans-Werner Huppert,
attended several masterclasses with well-known Guitarists such as Pepe
Romero, David Russell, Aniello Desiderio, Göran Söllscher, Scott
Tennant (Los Angeles Guitar Quartet) and have won national and
international Music competitions.
The Rheinsaiten Quartet already gave concerts in Germany and abroad,
taught young chamber-music assembles in Master courses, took part as
Jury from different competitions and they are also teachers in many
music schools in Rheinland such as: State music school Bad Honnef,
Königswinter, Rheinische Musikschule, Musikschule Pro Musica Jüchen.
