year student from The University of Santo

Tomas taking up Bachelor of Science in

Nursing.

Sofia’s interest in arts has started

since high school and had developed through

her years in the institution. She has been part

of Aquinian, the official magazine publication

of UST Junior High as the staff artist and as an officer in the UST Arts and Crafts club. She was able

to publish comics and artworks for the school magazine.

As a student nurse, she aims to show the beauty of healthcare and service of the front liners

in this current pandemic. She also uses historical icons and current events as her inspiration for art

in varied mediums such as watercolor, digital art, charcoal and graphite. She enjoys making pieces

that reflect the current state of our world.
