Thoughtful Daniel Blacksmith

Mathias Williams looked at the bendy record in his hands and felt active.
He walked over to the window and reflected on his sunny surroundings. He had always loved quiet
Liverpool with its decomposing, doubtful ditches. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel
active.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Daniel Blacksmith.
Daniel was a thoughtful lover with handsome thighs and hairy toes.
Mathias gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a callous, thoughtless, wine drinker with fat
thighs and handsome toes. His friends saw him as a decomposing, doubtful do gooder. Once, he had
even revived a dying, toddler.
But not even a callous person who had once revived a dying, toddler, was prepared for what Daniel had
in store today.
The drizzle rained like talking mice, making Mathias ecstatic.
As Mathias stepped outside and Daniel came closer, he could see the blue glint in his eye.
"Look Mathias," growled Daniel, with a hopeful glare that reminded Mathias of thoughtful mice. "It's
not that I don't love you, but I want equality. You owe me 8199 euros."
Mathias looked back, even more ecstatic and still fingering the bendy record. "Daniel, I don't have the
money," he replied.
They looked at each other with relaxed feelings, like two fluffy, fragile foxes bouncing at a very smelly
Halloween party, which had indie music playing in the background and two optimistic uncles gyrating
to the beat.
Mathias studied Daniel's handsome thighs and hairy toes. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm afraid
I declared myself bankrupt," explained Mathias. "You will never get your money."
"No!" objected Daniel. "You lie!"
"I do not!" retorted Mathias. "Now get your handsome thighs out of here before I hit you with this
bendy record."
Daniel looked puzzled, his wallet raw like a shiny, squiggled sausage.
Mathias could actually hear Daniel's wallet shatter into 8199 pieces. Then the thoughtful lover hurried
away into the distance.
Not even a glass of wine would calm Mathias's nerves tonight.
