Ensure the Machine is level in both planes, in other words make sure the
machine is level from left to right and from front to back

Check oil level daily

When checking the oil level always compensate for the angle of the screenbox

1 When the screenbox is set to its highest angle (25o), ensure that the oil
level is in the centre of the sight gauge
2 When the screenbox is set to its lowest angle (20o) ensure that the oil level
is in the centre of the sight gauge

Once the oil level is centred on the sight glass secure the sight glass in position and
use this as a reference point to measure the oil level
- If the sight gauge is set in position and the oil level is below the centre
of the sight glass than the oil must be topped up
- Check for oil leaks before topping up oil level
- Do not over fill with oil

Check the oil level on both sight glasses (One on each side of the machine)
- One side may not be level

The oil level must be at the mid point of the star shaped sight glass

Always check the oil level first thing in the morning before starting the machine

The oil should be changed in accordance with maintenance schedule

When replacing the oil only the exact amount and type of oil specified should be
added
