French Language Requirement

 What is the requirement?

There is no French language requirement to apply for the Master programs of Centrale Nantes,

EXCEPT for
- “Master 1 – City and Urban Environment – Ambiances, Architecture, Urbanity” which is
partially taught in French
- “Master 2 – City and Urban Environment – Ambiances, Architecture, Urbanity” which is totally
taught in French

 Can I provide a French language proficiency proof if French is not a native language for me?

Yes you can. There are different options:

1- French language test (certification)

The candidate has passed an International French test such as the TFI or equivalent. The candidate can
upload the scores of the test on the eCandidat application website.

2- French as a language of instruction

The candidate can provide a formal University transcript (or equivalent) that clearly states that the
language of instruction of the Bachelor studies was French.
