Death Penalty Abolishment

Death penalty, the punishment of execution, administered to

someone legally convicted of a capital crime. Sometimes considered
cruel, unfair, and unnecessary. Many people and advocate groups are
against it and want it abolished. I do not agree with them. Although you
are taking away the life of a person, it is assessed as a solution. I don’t
conjecture it is inhuman.

Civilians against death penalty defend criminals and say: They

have the right to live and the right of choice, or choosing. Equality rules
over individual rights. It is not just for killing the person so it doesn’t
occur again, it is also about the security of our world. By abolishing the
death penalty, and not having it as an option, it affects our society.
People vote for abolishing the death penalty, yet it is not abolished.
Without the death penalty we risk innocent lives. It is our job to make
the world a safer place, so that our future is secured. Right now only 120
people are sentenced to death, that is 1% of the population. If we don’t
act fast the percent will increase.

The death penalty is necessary, useful, and, I admit, scary. But it

doesn’t mean we shouldn’t use it. Criminals use guns, bombs, and
knives to murder, but they don’t deserve to pay the price? I love
watching Investigation Discovery and feel anxiety when waiting to hear
the criminal’s punishment. Sometimes I disagree with the judge’s
decision, but one person’s opinion can’t affect a sortition. That is why
people should speak they’re mind. If I could help make the decision, I
would. Death penalty abolishment is not necessary because it depends
on the whole worlds perception and perspective. Without the death
penalty, would we be safe, or okay? We don’t know, that is why it
shouldn’t be abolished because with it would come other problems with
much bigger importance. The death penalty should always remain to be
used and a choice.
