Here’s what we’ll be doing today. We will begin writing on the second page of this document:

● Introductions
● Quick question: ‘Change’ --what have you noticed changing in your lifetime?
● Example chart: “Which expressions describe upward trends? Downward trends? Lack of
change?”
● Writing Task: WRITING TASK 1

For 20 minutes, you’ll write to answer the attached question. You’ll compare with a partner and
we’ll correct your writing together.

I recommend taking group lessons on topics such as ‘World News’, ‘Natural History’, ‘Business
News’, ‘Lifestyle’, ‘Technology’ and ‘Climate Change & Sustainability’.

Reading widely helps (15+ minutes/day), I recommend looking at https://www.procon.org/ and

https://www.pewresearch.org/.
