Stool
Cover
Use
a
3.5mm
/
E
hook
22cm
/
8.8in
stool
seat
This
is
a
stool
cover
for
a
22
cm
/
8.8
inch
seat
but
since
all
seats
do
not
have
the
same
thickness,
you
may
need
an
extra
round
of
popcorns
and/or
need
to
make
some
adjustments
to
rounds
11
and/or
12:
• If
you
need
an
extra
round
of
popcorns,
you
can
simply
do
a
repeat
of
round
7.
• If
the
cover
does
not
fit
snuggly
around
the
bottom
of
the
seat,
then
you
may
need
to
change
the
number
of
sc
in
between
the
skipped
sc
of
rounds
11
and
12.
When
you
increase
the
number
of
sc
made
in
between
the
skipped
sc
then
the
cover
will
become
wider.
If
you
decrease
the
number
of
sc
in
between
the
skipped
sc,
the
cover
will
become
tighter.

Attaching
the
feathers
to
the
stool
cover
The
feathers
are
going
to
be
sewn
to
the
stool
cover
using
a
length
of
mercerized
cotton
and
a
tapestry
needle.
The
feathers
will
be
attached
to
the
popcorns
of
round
8.
When
you
have
made
24
feathers,
you
attach
a
feather
to
every
other
popcorn.
When
you
have
made
18
feathers,
you
skip
2
popcorns
in
between
each
feather.
Cut
off
140cm
/
56in
of
yarn.
In
the
photos
I
use
a
contrasting
colour
to
be
able
to
show
you
clearly
how
to
attach
the
feathers.
The
feathers
are
going
to
be
attached
around
the
front
loop
of
the
middle
of
the
5
trc
that
form
the
popcorn.
From
back
to
front
thread
yarn
through
popcorn
and
make
sure
that
from
behind
you
insert
the
needle
just
above
the
front
loop
of
the
trc.
Leave
a
tail
to
weave
in
later.
Take
the
first
feather
and
insert
the
needle
from
front
to
back
through
the
picot
3
and
attach
it
to
the
popcorn
by
inserting
the
needle
from
front
to
back
through
the
popcorn
again
this
time
below
the
front
loop
of
the
middle
trc.
Don’t
pull
too
tightly
in
order
to
let
the
feather
dangle
a
little
bit.
9
Now
work
at
the
back
of
the
cover
and
weave
the
yarn
through
round
8
until
you
arrive
at
the
next
popcorn
you
need
to
attach
a
feather
to.
From
back
to
front
pull
the
yarn
through
the
popcorn,
take
the
second
feather
and
inserting
the
needle
from
front
to
back
through
the
picot
3
attach
it
to
the
popcorn.
You
are
now
at
the
back
of
the
cover
again;
weave
the
yarn
through
to
the
next
popcorn
that
needs
a
feather
attached
to
it.
Repeat

Blocking
If
necessary,
you
may
want
to
block
the
garland
because
sometimes
the
string
won’t
stay
neat
and
straight.
You
can
use
Styrofoam
and
pins,
but
you
could
also
put
a
towel
on
your
ironing
board
and
pin
the
garland
onto
that.
Spray
with
some
water
and
let
it
dry
for
about
12
hours.
