WAVE SUMMARY

The Wave is based on a true story that took place in a high school history class in
Palo Alto in California.

The story begins when Professor Ben Ross addresses the period of Nazism during
history class, the students cannot understand the blind behavior of the Germans or
why they allowed themselves to be manipulated. They would never have allowed
something like that, they would have rebelled against the despots. It is then that Ross
at home, comes up with an experiment that will help his students better understand
this part of the story. However, the experiment gets out of hand and begins to take
dangerous dimensions.

At the end of the story, Professor Ross summons all the students who belonged to the
wave and told them that their leader was going to appear on television, then suddenly
the television turned on and a character appeared on the television screen, the
character It was Hitler the leader of the Nazis, everyone in the room was shocked and
Professor Ben said, there is no wave outside the school. There is no great leader, he
also said that men like Hitler run things like the wave, so the students understood the
lesson.
