Layout Assistant is a complimentary one time service to help assist you in accurate counts of pavers and/or pedestals.
Please note that Layout Assistant can only be as accurate as information provided. All other revisions to either layout or
information provided can be added and changed to takeoff at an additional set hourly fee.

Roof area and Pedestal quantities have been established from the following architect supplied information:
- Drawings link supplied on 5/20/20- Layout assistant was asked to help provide a layout drawing for this project. 2
links that were supplied to Hanover were for the PDF files and the CAD Files for this project. The drawing that
were used to complete this takeoff was:
- A1-02E-EOS-LEVEL 2 COURTYARD EOS DRAINAGE
- H1.04-ON STRUCTURE COURTYARD PLAN(1)
- H2.08-HARDSCAPE DETAILS_Brier Creek SL_aaryal-SHEET-S1-01B-LEVEL 1 FDN AND FRMG PLAN-AREA
B.d
- CAD file used to produce this drawing:
- ST18_BRICER CREEK SL_AARYAL-SHEET-S1-01B-LEVEL 1 FDN AND FRMG PLAN-AREA B.
- The drainage plan that was located in the link did not supply Hanover with enough information to perform a
pedestal takeoff. A tapered plan is recommended to properly determine the quantities for individual pedestal
components. A discrepancy with this drawing is that the hatch pattern in the courtyard plan showed a full size
1'-4" grid. Layout assistant was instructed by email to use Hanover's standard sized 23-1/2" square paver.
Another discrepancy was that the paving pattern did not align with the building itself, this created cut pieces along
of the perimeters of the paving area. layout assistant orientated the pavers to align with the one wall to create the
same paving pattern, and help align a full paver row at the starting point.
- Hanover® requires that all perimeters of pavers be contained or restrained as part of elevated paver system
requirements. LOCATION: RALEIGH, NC
- Hanover® has used the following nominal paver sizes to assist in takeoff:
-- 23-1/2" x 23-1/2" x 2"
-- 23-1/2" x 35-3/8" x 2" (oversized with scored line at 23-1/2")
- Pedestal placement may need to be adjusted due to paver cuts and modifications in field. Therefore, pedestal DATE: 6/18/2020 SCALE: NTS
counts may be incorrect. Please note that in areas such as perimeters where the pavers will be cut, adhesive may
need to be placed to hold paver to pedestal. Hanover® suggests using 3M Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic
Adhesive DP 8005 Black to adhere pavers to pedestals. DETAILED: CONNOR MILLER
- Please note that layout is designed with full paver per spot quantity. Full paver may not be needed at all spots so
paver count may be inaccurate.
- Hanover® requires a minimum of 60 PSI insulation under the elevated pedestal system.
- After phone conversations and file exchange, no starting point was given. Therefore, Layout Assistant has DRAWING: 1 OF 1
marked starting point on drawing. If this starting point is not utilized when starting the paver layout, these
quantities may be inaccurate because of the use of oversized pavers.
*DRAWINGS ARE FOR PORTFOLIO USE ONLY
