Welcome
At Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd, we constantly upgrade our application to serve you better. The
MPlusOnline mobile app has been developed to meet today’s needs. With this new release, you will
be greeted by a customisable dashboard providing immediate information from the initial screen
such as indices summary, market summary, latest news and announcements from Bursa Malaysia,
favourites, order status and portfolio. In addition to that, you will be able to stream stock details
enable you to monitor the market live. Welcome to the new MPlusOnline mobile app and happy
trading.

Audience
This user guide is intended for MPlusOnline mobility users.

Getting Started
You need to have a valid login to the MPlusOnline to begin using the mobile application.

System Requirement
The MPlusOnline requires user to be online either on wireless connection (WiFi) or running on 3G
or 4G/LTE active connection. The following indicates our recommended minimum operating system
requirement:
✓ For Google Android users, ensure your device is running on Android version 4.2 and above

✓ For Apple users, ensure your device is running on iOS version 7 and above

Download and Install the Mobile App

Search for MPlusOnline mobile app from Apple® App StoreSM for iOS users or from Google Play™
store for Android users. Download and install the app.

Login

1. Start by tapping on the icon on your mobile devices to launch the app and the screen below
will appear:

2. Enter your User ID and Password.

Note: Tap on the Remember User ID checkbox to place a if you wish the mobile app to
remember your User ID.
3. Tap on the Sign In button to login.
4. Upon successful login, the screen as shown below will appear:

Get to Know your Menu

The icon can be found on every screen allowing you to access your menu.

Options Description
Displays stock summary information such as indices summary, market
summary, latest news and announcement in a dashboard format. You will
be able to customise the dashboard by adding widgets allowing you to have
an overall view of your investment.

Enables you to have a quick access to top 30 stocks in the following

categories:

▪ Most Active (volume) ▪ Top Losers

▪ Top Gainers ▪ Top Losers (%)
▪ Top Gainers (%) ▪ Most Active (value)

Allows you to manage your favourite stocks and group them according to
your preference.

Provides you an overview of market information, and stock movement

details for both Market and Sector. You get to further categorise market
information by Sector.

Indicates stock movements in general list of prices of securities listed with

Exchange. Here, you will see the entire stock market performance allowing
you to track market’s changes over time.

Allows you to search for a specific stock code or name to view the market
depth, quote, stock general info, trade details, chart, financial info and
news. From here, you will get to buy, sell or even add them into your
favourite list of the selected stock.

Displays your order status and you will be able to filter by trading account
code and exchange. You get to view all of your orders, confirmed and
matched here.

Quick access to view your stock on hand and at the same time, you get to
perform the buy or sell transaction.

Displays your account summary.

Displays up to the latest thirty (30) news and announcements from Bursa
Malaysia.

Allows you to setup your MPlusOnline mobile trading app.

Setting up your Mobile App

1. Tap on the icon that can be found on the top left hand corner of the screen and the screen
as shown below will appear:

2. Tap on the icon to call up the Settings screen as shown below to begin setting up your
mobile app.

Function Description
Trading Pin Switch this on if you wish to have the Trading Pin store in the memory after
entering the first time within the session. Do take note that, if you have
switched this on, the next time you login to the mobile app, you would need
to re-enter the Trading Pin and it will be store in the memory until you
logout.

By default, the Trading Pin is switched off.

Change Password Allows you to change your password and by tapping here, the following
screen pops up:

Menu Styles Allows you to have the flexibility to have the menu ( ) icon to stay on the
top left hand corner or floats within the screen. By tapping on this option,
the following screen pops up to let you configure accordingly:

By default, it is set to Classic.

Update Interval Enables you to adjust snapshot refresh and by default, it is set to 5
seconds. Tap on this option to bring up the following screen to setup the
update interval:

Using MPlusOnline Mobile App

The following sub sections provide you the guidance to use MPlusOnline mobile app.

Dashboard
The screen below, Dashboard, appears after a successful login. Here, you will have a dashboard
view of indices summary, market summary, latest news and announcements. You can further
customise your dashboard by adding or removing widgets at any time.

1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and you will see the icon.

2. Tap on the icon and the following screen will pop up for you to select which widget to add
on your dashboard:

Widget Description
Name
Favourites Displays your favourite stock information and when
you tap into the details, you will be directed into the
Favourites screen. Should you have setup your
favourite group, you will get to select which group
you would like to display.
Order Displays up to a maximum of five (5) last orders
Status made based on the last order date and time. Tap
into the details will call up the Order Status screen.
Portfolio Displays up to a maximum of five (5) stocks in your
portfolio. Do take note that the latest five (5) records
is as per the first five (5) Stock Name in ascending
order. Tapping into the details will take you to the
portfolio screen.

3. Each widget added can be removed by tapping on the icon as shown in the screen below:

Top 30
Tapping on the Top 30 menu, the screen as shown below will appear. In this screen, you will be
able to view the daily top thirty (30) stocks’ movement based on the following categories:
▪ Move active (volume) ▪ Top Losers
▪ Top Gainers ▪ Top Losers (%)
▪ Top Gainers (%) ▪ Most Active (value)

Favourites
This function allows you to create up to ten (10) favourite group and name them accordingly. Within
each group, you can add up to fifty (50) stocks. On top of that, you will be able to buy and sell in
this screen. The Mobile Favourites stocks now will sync with Desktop Favourites.

1. Tap on the Favourites icon on the menu and the screen as shown below will appear:

2. Tap on the icon found on the top right of this screen to add a new Favourite Group. The

screen as shown below will pop up upon tapping on the icon:

3. Enter the name of your favourite group here and tap on the Add button.
Note: The Favourite Group name must be unique.
4. Once your group is successfully created, you will be able to see it on the tab.

5. Tap on the icon to search for the stock to add into your Favourite Group accordingly.

6. Should you wish to change or remove a group, tap on the Favourite Group name for a few
seconds and you will be prompted as follows:

Buttons Description
Rename Enter a new name where the cursor is
and tap on the Rename button to save.
Remove Tap on the Remove button to remove
the selected favourite group.

7. Please refer to the Trading from your Mobile App section on how to trade.

Market
Provides an overview of Market information and further categorise by Sector, showing the stock
movement details for both Market and Sector.

2. Tap on the respective market to view the Sector. The following screen appears when you tape
on the Whole Market:

Indices
The indices shows market data available in Bursa Malaysia indices. To have a better view of this
screen, kindly ensure your mobile device’s rotating feature is enabled so you can rotate your mobile
device to horizontal position allowing you to view historical data up to one (1) year.

1. Tap on the Indices icon on the menu and the screen as shown below will appear:

Stocks
The Stocks option allow you to search view the stock details and trade. The following are the
categories you can view here:
▪ Market depth ▪ Intraday chart and historical chart (up
▪ Quote to 1 year data)
▪ Info ▪ Financial info
▪ Trade details (individual transaction, ▪ News
group by price and group by volume)
Note: Searching for a stock from any screen will direct you to this screen.

Trading from your Mobile App

1. Tap on the Buy or Sell button found on the screen to begin trading.
Note: A message will pop up if you trade outside of trading hours.
2. Enter your trading information such as selecting your trading account, price, quantity (in board
lot) and choose validity (date) in the screen as shown below:

Tap on the Confirm button to confirm

your order.

Should the trading hours is over at the

point of submitting your order, the
following message will pop up:

order will be sent out automatically the
next day at 8.30am. Otherwise, you will
be redirected to the Trade screen.

Order Status
You can check your order status and details of your order here. On top of that, you can reduce or
cancel the order placed here.

1. Tap on the Order Status from the menu and the screen as shown below will appear:
Note: The trading transaction shown below are based on the selected trading account.

2. Tap on the icon to view the respective trading transaction, reduce the order or cancel the

order. The screen as shown below will appear upon clicking on the icon:

You can check your portfolio here as well as performing a trade transaction. You can also view
Bursa’s news for your respective stock.

For a quick view on your summary account, tap on the Account Summary from the menu and the
