Introduction

Banking is very important for today's economy.


First Security Islami Bank has created a positive image of the
customer's mind by providing better service.
This bank has introduced some modern banking scheme that has got
high market demand.
It is committed to providing high-quality financial services.

Objectives of the study

• To present an overview of First Security Islami Bank.


• To achieve a broad idea about Operations, Functions,
Performance, HR policy & system of a banking
organization.
• To gather knowledge about various services of different
departments of the First Security Islami bank.

Limitation of the Study
• To collect information, the difficulty faced because of the excessive
nature of confidentiality maintained by the officials of the Bank.

• Lack of availability of data sources.

• Up-to-date information was not available.

• Available data also could not be verified.

Methodology

Types of the Research


This is the study which followed descriptive type of research. The
term descriptive research refers to the type of research question,
design, and data analysis that will be applied to a given topic.

• Sources of Data
To collect data mostly, Primary sources have been used for this report.

• Primary Data:
Relevant file study provided by the officers concerned.
Prepare some questionnaires.
Face to face conversation with the respective officers and staffs.
Facing some practical situation related to the day to day banking
activities.
Work in different departments of the bank- accounts opening,
accounts, clearing, foreign exchange & remittance departments.

Population of the Study:
Employees of First Security Islami Bank are the population of this study.
Sample Size:
Interviewed 26 employers randomly but 1 respondents survey is wrong
that’s why 25 respondents are targeted for this survey. All the target
respondents were in first security islami bank.
Sampling Technique:
In this study random sampling technique was used to collect data.
Tools and Techniques of Data Analysis:
After getting all data, graphs and pie charts have been used through MS
word and MS Excel to analyses data and results based on various concepts
and practical knowledge.

Analysis
For evaluating FSIBL’s employee performance evaluation is a
broad analysis from data through the questionnaire survey. Here
identify employee performance evaluation and procedures of
FSIBL based on employees opinion and also try to develop
analysis the procedures.

Findings
 According to 25 respondents, Maximum employees have agreed that their
tasks at the organization are accurate and precise.
 Most of the employees are agreed about that they are performed
assignments in a timely manner.
 Majority of employees are neutral about have the necessary practical and
technical knowledge to perform their job. Employees didn’t mention
anything specifically about it.
 Within the 25 employees, maximum employees have disagreed and neutral
about takes proper care of equipment.
 Most of the respondents are agreed about that they are able to train other
employees.

They didn’t mention anything about this matter.
 According to 25 employees, most of the employees agreed that Organization
justifies employees’ absences and leaves.
 Maximum employees are neutral about seeks out new assignments when
finished with own responsibilities.
 Maximum employees are agreed as well as neutral about Motivate and help
others to improve their performance.
 In First Security Islami Bank employees maintain good relationships with
colleagues and most of the employees agreed about that.

In First Security Islami Bank, most of the employees are agreed that their
organization prioritizes their efficient manner.
Employees having a positive and supportive attitude are appreciated in
FSIBL and most of the employees are agreed about this matter.
First Security Islami Bank, promotes employees teamwork for enhancing
employee performance and most of the employees are agreed about it.
Majority of the employees are agreed that they are able to perform the
work with little or no instructions.

Recommendations
 As soon as possible the bank should launch more branches in Khulna city as
well as in other cities in Bangladesh.
 Employee performance evaluation is a very powerful process if implemented
correctly. Mistakes can be avoided by consulting experts who have had
experience across multiple industries and many implementations.
 Some operational activities should be decentralized to provide faster services
to the customers.
 A new way to deliver services should be introduced such a time limit should
be stated for a particular service.

 FSIBL should charge reasonable charges and fees. ATM booth facilities
should be increased & with SMS service fees should be reasonable.
 More promotional activities are needed for locals at Khulna branch.
Organizing events or sponsoring events will be good ways by doing it.
 FSIBL conduct its promotion interview in every two or three years.
Promotion interview should be in every year and it may motivate employees
more than before.

 The bank should develop its decoration system in such a way so that the
customer can get their information easily. 29
Conclusion
FSIBL is one of the third generation banks in Bangladesh. First Security
Islami Bank Limited aims to become one of the leading banks in
Bangladesh by quality of operations in their banking sector. Performance
are one of the most effective supervisory tools to provide feedback and
help employees gain the skills to be successful. It should be noted that
employee evaluation system can be effective only if it is accepted by
employees and if management is fully committed.
