Title: Ait What are you trying to investigate/find out in this experiment? (one sentence) Hypothesis: What do you predict will happen, based on your knowledge of theory related to the topic? Materials/Apparatus: Allist of all the important equipment used in the experiment. Method: A detailed description of everything you did in the experiment. Sometimes, writing this section in steps or dot points can make it clearer. It is often helpful to draw a diagram of the apparatus, to help show what you did with it. Results: All observations (qualitative data) and measurements (quantitative data). This section often includes a table or a graph. Do not explain your resultsi!t Discussion: This is where you try to explain your results, in light of the science theory that you know. You can also do some extra research to help explain your results. If your results were not as expected, you need to discuss any problems with the experiment that might have accounted for the unexpected results. ‘Conclusion: One sentence, summarising what you have found out in the experiment. It should relate to the aim.
