- “When two of your groups were about to lose heart, while Allah is their guardian! It is in
Allah alone that the believers must place their trust” (Surah Al-Imran: 122)

- “So, it tis through mercy from Allah that you are gentle to them. Had you been rough and
hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you. So, pardon them, and seek
forgiveness for them. Consult them in the matter and, once you have taken a decision, place
your trust in Allah. Surely, Allah loves those who place their trust in Him” (Surah Al-Imran:
159)

- “If Allah helps you, there is none to overcome you. And if He abandons you, then, who is
there to help you after that? In Allah the believers should place their trust.” (Surah Al-Imran:
160)

- “They say ‘obedience’, but when they go away from you, a group of them conspires at night
contrary to what they say. Allah records what they conspire. So ignore them and put your
trust in Allah. Allah is enough to trust in.” (Surah Nisa: 81)

- “O you who believe, remember Allah’s favour upon you, when some people planned to lay
their hands on you, and He kept their hands away from you. Fear Allah; and in Allah the
believers should place their trust” (Surah Maidah: 11)

- “Said two men from among the God-fearing, on whom Allah had bestowed His favour, enter
the gate (charging) upon them. Once you have entered it, you will be the ones who will
prevail. In Allah you must place your trust, if you are believers” (Surah Maidah: 23)

- “We will be forging a lie against Allah, if we were to turn to your faith after Allah has saved
us from it. It is not for us that we turn to it unless Allah, our Lord, so wills. Our Lord has
encompassed everything with his knowledge. In Allah we place our trust. Our Lord, decide
between us and our people, with truth, and You are the best of all judges” (Surah A’raf: 89)

- “Certainly, the believers are those whose hearts are filled with awe when Allah is
mentioned; and when his verses are recited to them, it makes them more developed in
faith; and in their Lord they place their trust” (Surah Anfal: 2)

- “When the hypocrites and those who have a disease in their hearts said, ‘the belief of these
people has deluded them’, and whoever places his trust in Allah (becomes victorious as Allah
is Mighty, Wise” (Surah Anfal: 49)

- “And of they tilt towards peace, you too should tilt towards it, and place your trust in Allah.
Surely, He is All-Hearing, the All-Knowing” (Surah Anfal: 61)

- “Say, nothing can ever reach us except hat Allah has destined for us. He is our Master. And in

Him I have placed my trust, and He is the lord of the great throne” (Surah Tawbah: 129)

- “And recite to them the news of Noah, when he said to his people, "O my people, if my
residence and my reminding of the signs of Allah has become burdensome upon you - then I
have relied upon Allah. So resolve upon your plan and [call upon] your associates. Then let
not your plan be obscure to you. Then carry it out upon me and do not give me respite.”
(Surah Yunus: 71)

- “And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allah, then rely upon Him, if you
should be Muslims." (Surah Yunus: 84)

- “So they said, "Upon Allah do we rely. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the
wrongdoing people” (Surah Yunus: 85)

- “I place my trust in Allah who is my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but He holds it
by the forelock. Surely, my Lord is on a straight path.” (Surah Hud: 56)

- “He said, ‘O my people, tell me, if I am on a clear path from my Lord and He has provided me
with a good provision from Himself, (should I still leave you unguided?) I do not want to do
in your absence what I forbid you from. I want nothing but to set things right as far as I can.
My ability to do anything comes from none but Allah. In Him alone I have placed my trust
and to Him alone I turn in humbleness.” (Surah Hud: 88)

- “To Allah belong the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and to Him the entire matter shall
be returned. So worship Him and have trust in Him. Your Lord is not unaware of what you
do.“ (Surah Hud: 123)

- “And he said, ‘O my sons, do not enter (the city) all of you from the same gate, rather, enter
from different gates. And I cannot help you in any way against (the will of) Allah. Sovereignty
belongs to none but Allah. In Him I place my trust, and all those who trust should trust in
Him alone” (Surah Yusuf: 67)

- “Thus We have sent you, amidst a community before which many communities have passed
away, so that you may recite to them what We have revealed to you, while they disbelieve
in the All-Merciful Allah. Say, ‘He is my Lord. There is no god but He. In Him I place my trust,
and to Him is my return.” (Surah Ar-Rad: 30)

- “Their prophets said to them, ‘We are no more than a human being like you, but Allah
bestows His favour upon whom He wills from among His servants. It is not for us to bring
you an authority without Allah‘s permission, and in Allah the believers must place their
trust.” (Surah Ibrahim: 11)

- “What is wrong with us that we should not put our trust in Allah when He has guided us to
our paths? We shall, of course, endure with patience all your persecutions; and all those
who have to trust should trust only in Allah.” (Surah Ibrahim: 12)

Say, ‘Then, tell me about those whom you invoke other than Allah, if Allah intends to cause
some harm to me, are they (able) to remove the harm caused by Him? Or if He intends to
bless me with mercy, are they (able) to hold back His mercy (from me)?. Say, ‘Allah is
sufficient for me. In Him trust those who (rightly) trust (in someone)” (Surah Zumar: 38)

- “Whatever dispute you have in any matter, its judgment lies with Allah. That One is Allah,
the Lord of mine; in Him alone I have placed my trust, and to Him alone I turn (in every
matter)” (Surah Shura: 10)

- “So, whatever thing has been given to you is an enjoyment of the worldly life. And that
which is with Allah is much better, and much more durable for those who believe and place
their trust in Allah” (Surah Shura: 36)

- “Indeed, there is an excellent example for you in Ibrahim and those with him, when they
said to their people, ‘We disown you and what you worship instead of Allah. We disbelieve
in you. Enmity and hatred has arisen between us and you forever, unless you believe in Allah
alone’, but (his example is) not (to be followed) in what Ibrahim said to his father, ‘I will pray
to my Lord for your forgiveness, and I have no power from Allah (to do anything) for you’ O
our Lord, in You alone we trust, and to You alone we turn for help, and to You is the final
return.” (Surah Mumtahina: 4)

- “Allah is such that there is no god but He. And in Allah alone the believers must place their
trust.” (Surah Taghabun: 13)

- “and provides him (with what he needs) from where he does not even imagine. And
whoever places his trust in Allah, He is sufficient for him. Surely Allah is to accomplish His
purpose. Allah has set a measure for everything.” (Surah Talaq: 3)
- “Say, ‘He is the Rahman; we have believed in Him, and in Him we placed our trust. So, you
will soon come to know who is in open error” (Surah Mulk: 29)
