How do countries respond after a terrorist attack.

When a country is at a state of emergency the government immediately takes all the

measures necessary for its territory to be as safe as possible and to be prepared for any kind of

action the other part may follow its first attack. In many cases, the decision makers of the

country choose to make sudden and extreme changes in the military and police security,

increasing the amount of monitoring that goes in the streets and around the country in hope of

keeping their citizens out of danger, having knowledge of what the attacker may do, and have the

possibility to prevent it-.

Every so often they make changes that show lack of coherence between what the

constitution of the country stipulates and what the government decides to do; as seen in many

occasion, the negligence of the laws of a state may result in the oversight of the rights of the

citizens, consequently this turns out as the opposite of what the government wants, which is

keeping their people safe. For instance, in many country when there’s a state of alert the police is

automatically authorized to stop any person that looks “suspicious” and even arrest them, which

may help the government feel in control of the country’s situation but makes the citizens feel

extremely unsafe.
