Once, there was a poor girl named Sivasangkari. One day, she was eating a rice cake outside

chuckling behind her. She turned around and saw an old woman. The old woman said, “I’m
sorry I cannot give you back the rice cake. I have eaten it. It is delicious. Take this tablecloth
home. When you are hungry, spread it out and say, “Tablecloth, tablecloth, please give me
food!, and you will not be hungry again. Then, she disappeared.
Sivasangkari took the tablecloth and walked home. On the way, she met a young
man. The man asked Sivasangkari why she was carrying a tablecloth. Sivasangkari told him

The children were very excited. Nithya used her money to buy and sell things. She
made a lot of money. However, she began to spend her money on expensive things for
herself. She bought whatever she wanted. Soon, she used up all her money.
Sangeetha put all the coins her grandfather gave her into a money box with a red
border. She hid the box under her bed to keep it safe. At the end of the year, she dusted the
box and showed the coins to her grandfather.
Harshini used the money to buy thread, needles, colourful buttons and cloth. She made
pretty dolls and sold them to her friends. She put the money she earned into the bank.
