Camillo was convinced that Leontes was suspecting wrongly. He requested Leontes to rethink about the whole affair, Leontes became enraged at Camillo's needless advice. Camillo reatised that his own life may be in danger. He took a vow to kill Polixenes, but went and told him about the king’s plan to poison him. They both decided to run away from Sicilia.
