Proofpoint End-User Digest

The End-User Digest is an email that is delivered to you on a daily basis (Mon-Fri) around 12:00pm informing
you of emails that were quarantined potential Spam (messages that have some signs of being a Spam
message) or a Bulk mail (messages that are determined to be mass email notifications or advertisements
for products or services). You may be familiar with you receive with the subject titled: “ UT Anti SPAM
Quarantine Notification” email.
When you review this list, you have the options available to you:

• Release the message.


o Click the Release Link in the row of the message. This will immediately deliver the message
to your inbox. Use this method when you would like to continue quarantining messages
from this sender, but are interested in just this message.
• Allow Sender
o Click the “Allow Sender” link in the row of the message. This will add the sender to your
Allow Senders List. Any messages from this sender will no longer be quarantined and will
be automatically delivered to your inbox.
• Block Sender
o Click the “Block Sender” link in the row of the message. This will block any future messages
from this sender. These messages will be blocked from this sender and never be delivered
to your inbox or show up in your quarantine folder.

If you would like at any time to view your quarantine or your safe senders/blocked senders lists, click the
Manage My Account link in the upper right-hand corner of the email message or visit:
https://antispam.utoledo.edu:10020.

You will be taken to an end-user portal.


Select Lists and you can view/add/modify your Safe Sender and Blocked Sender List

If you would like to add an email address to any of the lists, select the specified list, and click New. Enter
the email address and click Save.

• If you enter an email address in your Safe Senders List, any messages from that sender will be
considered safe. Note: When entering an email address here, please be sure that you 100% trust
the sender.
• If you enter an email address in your Blocked Senders List, any messages from that sender will be
blocked from that point forward. These messages to you from that particular sender will be
rejected. Note: When entering an email address here, please be sure that you never want to
receive a message from this sender again.
