Forgive and Forget or Suffer until DEATH

The news catch the attention of the people about the GCTA or the GOOD CONDUCT TIME ALLOWANCE
of the REPUBLIC ACT No. 10592 passed in 2013 that states about the prison who have good behavior for
so long can have a chance to get parole. But the news was focus on the prison with high profile
especially the former mayor of Calauan,Laguna Mayor Antonio Sanchez. Who has convicted because of
the gang raped and murder of sweethearts Eileen Sarmenta and Allan Gomez both students of the
University of the Philippines Los Banos, on June 28, 1993.

The family of both students get mad when they heard that Mayor Sanchez is one of the prisoners who
has given a chance to get the GCTA. They say that mayor Sanchez didn’t deserve that parole because of
what he did. While the childrens of the former mayor of Calauan,Laguna said that their father has
already suffer for so long because of wrong accusation. The issue is still on going.

There are people who are agree but there are also people who are disagree. They say that just forgive
and forget what happen but some people says it’s a serious sin so how to forget as easy as they think.
Prisoners can change and is it possible. They are already suffer for what they did. But in the place of
those people they are killed,raped etc. It is not easy to forget it because they ruin the life of those
people. They get the chance to live better, to pursue their dreams, and reach their dreams. People has
given a life to make good things and make wrong things into right. People are made by GOD to give
peace on earth and spread love.
