If delivery is delayed for a reason beyond the control ofthe seller, the difference in date cannot be in excess of 3 months. Ifthe utilization (installation) of the equipment is delayed, the extension of the guarantee is limited to 3 months, non-cumulatve, to be requested with writen agreement ‘The seller undertakes to remedy any operating vice resulting from a fault in the design, or implementation, of the components or the materials themselves. The guarantee does not cover wear and tear", nor accidents resulting from a lack of regular and periodical upkeep, it does not cover deterioration due to a lack of surveillance, incorrect manipulations or poor operation of the equipment in particular overloading, pulling sideways. The guarantee does not apply each time dismanting, modification or changing of parts is carried out without our agreement or by @ non-authorized agent. The guarantee only apples to original spare parts from the constructor including chains. During the guarantee period, the seller must, free of charge, replace or repair parts recognized as defective after examination by his qualifed and authorized engineering department, The guarantee excludes all other payment or campensation. Under the guarantee, the repairs are in principle carried out in the workshops of the seller or his agent authorized by the constructor. When work is cartied out on the material outside these workshops. the manpower costs related to the dismantling or reassembly of these parts are borne by the seller when these operations are carried out solely by his staff or his agent authorized by the constructor. ‘The replacad parts become the property ofthe seller and must be retumed to him at his charge. Preface: to This Supplement ‘This manual supplement extends the PRODUCT USER'S GUIDE for additional wamings, instructions and information for the OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORK of these explosion-protected products. ‘The manual supplement may never be referred to alone but always in conjunction with the USER'S MANUAL. You should take the time to look through this supplement in order to avoid damage to the equipment and, above all, injury to people in the vicinity of the equipment. The equipment is designed so that itis safe when used correctly. However, there are many dangers, especially in Ex-areas (potentially explosive areas), which ‘occur due to incorrect operation, but which can be avoided if you recognize and anticipate them. This supplement also shows you tasks associated with the equipment and explains how you can keep it in a safe operating condition for its entire operating life. This supplement is not a substitute for proper training, but it contains methods and recommendations for safe and efficient operation and maintenance. The owner of the equipment must ensure that operators are properly trained before operating the equipment and that they comply with all applicable safety regulations and standards, rules and regulations at all times. 2.4.2 Symbols Used in This Manual ‘The reader should know the meaning of the following symbols in this manual.
