You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand
of visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central
Park, the Metropolian
museum and Time’s Square.
In the picture you can see the
Statue of Liberty, a monumet
built between 1875 and 1986.
It is 93 meters tall. The statue

 St. Peter’s Basilica, is one of the
most beautiful buildings in
Rome. But with a history
stretching back 2,000 years. St.
Peter’s Square is the big square
in the smallest country in the
world. It is something like the
entrance to the Vatican. Behind
the square is the famous St.
Peter’s Basilica, the most
important cathedral in the world.

The Sydney Opera House is
one of the most famous
buildings in the world. Sydney
Opera House is an modern
building structure that is
synonymous with Australia.
Located in Sydney, city of
beautiful ports and beaches,
making the visual factor of this
city, amazing like few others.

This Historic castle sits atop the
Castle Rock dominating the
Skyline of the Scottish Capital of
Edinburgh. In its 1100 years this
great castle has traded hands
many time during the war of
Scottish Independence in the
14th Century between the
Scottish and the English.

 Burj Khalifa is a modern building
in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,
the building is best known for
being the current world's tallest
skyscraper, it's the most popular
tourist attraction in Dubai; the
price of the admission ticket is
much higher than other
skyscrapers around the world.
As of 2018, the standard ticket
for accessing the observation
decks on 124th and 125th floors

When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
