REFLECTION: OUTREACH PROGRAM

An outreach program is one of our way of helping each other or we can say it in

other term as “Bayanihan”. It means offered as a free service to help people in need. Working

together as a community is a heartwarming activity.

We are task in Hospicio De San jose the kids are about 3-5 years of age. We took

care of them for about 2 hours. They are happy and full of energy while we are playing with

them. We can see their smiles, joy and some of them are naughty but we still took care of them

on how our parents did with us. And after that we gave them a movie cartoon to watch. We

watched with them while having as seat beside them. They’re happy being with us, and after that

we danced with them we saw they’re happy and they dance gladness and joy on their faces. We

also gave them stuffs that they can use every day.

For me, it’s a heartwarming and gives us joy to share and help others. It’s a

heartwarming to see them happy and contended for what we gave them. “Bayanihan” will

always be kept in my mind.
