We offer SkyGuard system for use with our JLG booms, as shown in
the illustration below. SkyGuard is a state-of-the-art control panel
device that provides an innovative solution to preventing injury and
fatality from crushing when operating MEWPs. It’s able to be retro-
fitted on all JLG boom lifts in a matter of minutes.
The SkyGuard system fits above the control panel. When subject to
pressure of around 23kg or more, it stops all functions and immediately
reverses most functions that caused the pressure. It can be activated
from a variety of angles and has no moveable parts, meaning there’s
no need for scheduled or additional maintenance. A horn alerts other
workers on the jobsite to sensor activation and the equipment includes
all required hardware, components and instructions.
