C.B.R. value = 2.27 %
Discussion of the obtained result
T.RRL. Transport and Road Researely Laboratory (U.K. ) clearly stated in the
TECHNNNICAL MEMORANDOM NO. H6/ 78 [ A capping layer are to be included in the
road pavement design whenever the C.B.R. of the normal sub-grade soil is likely to be less than
5%].
In this case the C.B.R. is 2.27 % which far less than 5% , then as a conclusion of that a capping
layer should be provided
Limitations
1- It should be noted that the above test were performed on sample collected and delivered to our
laboratory by the project owner under the supervision of our lab .technician
