Should less developed countries spend more on education than health and medicine

during this pandemic?

Honourable chairs and fellow delegates,

- In my opinion, less developed countries should spend more health and medicine
during this pandemic as people who got sick wouldn’t be able to get educated;
therefore, there won’t be any point in spending money on education. Health
should be prioritized, so we should all spend our resources on our medicines and
health care centres.

- Now the question arises, how will less developed countries get these resources?
We know that the governments of the less developed countries don’t have
enough money to spend on either sector. So, how can we solve this problem?

- And this the reason why this delegate requests the help and support from all
delegates present in this committee.
- First of all, at this time, the greatest thing we need is help. More developed
countries should help by giving financial support to less developed countries
- Secondly, greater awareness about this issue should be given to each and every
person today through multimedia or other mediums.

In conclusion, health should be prioritized for less developed countries during this
pandemic as it is more urgent than education. With awareness and help from more
developed countries, enough money can be raised to support health care in less
developed countries.

This delegate would like to yield the floor to any and all points of information pertaining
to the speech.
