Company Profile
Mr. and Mrs. I started Company I Farms in the 2000s with a dream to become
pioneers in the local agriculture industry. They first started on buying and selling
calamansi fruits in Northern Luzon. After some time, they decided to plant low-land
vegetables and became successful with their onions. The company went on to expand
into growing and exporting rice all over Luzon.
They are staffed with veteran managers, experienced agricultural technicians,
supervisors, and field workers. Their team works efficiently and responds quickly to
changing weather patterns and conditions in the field to achieve the maximum
opportunity that each crop presents. They currently manage approximately 495 acres of
field spread across in Ilocos Region, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija..
They comply with all business and agricultural regulations and requirements
including, but not limited to, the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Department of
Trade and Industry (DTI), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and worker’s
compensation insurance.
Company I Farms maintains a production staff of 150 or more experienced
employees who are compensated in a manner that provides continuity of labor
throughout the entire year, ranging from rice fields and farm development to the
delivery of high quality products to the market. They also have a source of seasonal
employees who often return every year, which allows them to provide their clients with
a consistent workforce throughout the season to address their company specific needs.
Company I Farms also provide their employees with training in current farming
practices, safety and development, and a variety of out-reach programs which allows
them to be equipped with the necessary skills they should possess in order to meet the
company and client standards.
