Salsa:

There are multiple instruments used in salsa:

The bongo drum: It´s a percussion musical instrument formed by a
hollow wooden drum, elongated and more or less cylindrical,
covered in the upper part by a stretched leather patch and
uncovered in the lower part; it is touched with the hands.
Maracas: It is formed by a handle and a spherical hollow body with
small stones or dry seeds inside; it is played by shaking it
rhythmically, usually one in each hand.
Campana: It´s shape is an inverted and hollowed cup that
resonates acoustically and vibrates when is struck.
Clave: It is formed by a pair of solid wood cylindrical canes. Its
diameter is approximately 2 centimeters by a length of 25 cm. The
sound is produced by striking one on the other.
Guiro: formed by an elongated hollow gourd with horizontal
grooves that is played by scratching it vertically with a small stick,
a metal rod, or a drumstick.
Flute: formed by a cylindrical tube with holes that is touched by
blowing through one of the ends while covering and uncovering
the holes with your fingers.
Trumpet: it is made of metal alloy. The sound is produced thanks
to the vibration of the performer's lips in the part called the
mouthpiece from the column of air.
Trombone: its musical instrument similar to the trumpet but larger,
with a lower sound, without pistons and allows the length of the
instrument to be modified to produce different sounds.
Piano: formed by a series of metallic strings of different length and
diameter, arranged from highest to lowest in a resonance box, and
a series of black and white keys that, when pressed, strike the
strings and make them sound.
Bass: It is similar in appearance and construction to an electric or
acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and
typically four to six strings. It is an instrument that reproduces the
lowest sounds of the sound spectrum of a song.
