SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
  PLEASE VISIT THE VENUE IN ADVANCE TO FAMILIARISE WITH ITS LOCATION
  The Candidate should bring his/her Admit Card, two Photographs, identity proof in ORIGINAL (Aadhar Card, Driving License, University/College ID, Voter ID Card,
Pan Card, etc)
  No entry will be allowed after 9.30 AM for Forenoon Session and 1.30 PM for Afternoon Session.
GENERAL INTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1.            The Candidates should, in addition to their Admit Card, also bring two copies of their latest  coloured photo (3 cm x 3.5 cm) and at least one photo bearing identity proof in
ORIGINAL  (Aadhar  Card,  Driving  License,  University  /College  ID,  Voter  ID  Card,  Pan  Card,  etc)  along  with  its  photocopy,  failing  which,  they  would  not  be  admitted  in  the
examination venue and their candidature would be cancelled .

2.   Prohibited items, such as watches, books, pens, paper chits, magazines, electronic gadgets (mobile phones, blue tooth devices, pen/buttonhole cameras, scanner,
calculator, storage devices etc) are strictly not allowed in the examination venue. If any such item is found in the possession of a candidate, his/her candidature
shall be cancelled and legal/criminal proceedings may be initiated against him/her. He/she would also be debarred from appearing in the future examinations of
the Commission for a period of 3 years. Pen/pencil and paper for rough work would be provided in the examination room .

3.     All Exam Labs are under Video Surveillance and all activities of candidates are being monitored. The candidates are therefore advised to avoid talking to any candidate or
indulging  in  any  unfair  means.  Such  activities  could  lead  to  cancellation  of  their  candidature  for  this  exam  and  they  could  also  be  debarred  from  appearing  in  the  future
examinations of the Commission for a period of 3 years.

4.    The candidates who have submitted more than one Application Form and who have received more than one Admission Certificate are directed to appear only on one Admission
Certificate and to surrender the other Admission Certificate/s to the Invigilator, failing which the candidature of such candidates would be cancelled and they would be debarred
from appearing in the future examinations of the Commission.

5.     The candidature of the candidates is purely provisional. It is advised that candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If it is found  at  a
later stage that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature would be cancelled.
6.     The Candidates will be admitted in the exam only at the venues specified in the Admission Certificates.
7.        The  entry  of  the  Candidates  inside  the  venue  will  only  be  allowed  between  8.30 AM  ­9.30 AM  for  the  forenoon  session  and  between  12.30  PM  –  1.30  PM  for  the
afternoon session. No candidate shall be allowed entry after 9.30 AM and 1.30 PM for forenoon and afternoon session respectively.

8.     The candidates will have to go through the process of frisking and biometric registration before they are allowed entry into the examination room.
9.     The candidates must abide by the instructions given by the exam functionaries (Centre Supervisor/ Invigilator etc.).
10.   If any candidate is found obstructing the work of the exam functionaries or creating disturbances at the exam venue, his/her candidature would be summarily cancelled.
11.      The  candidates  should  ensure  that  they  provide  clear  &  fully  legible  impression  of  their  LTI  ,  Certification    Statement  in  their  running  handwriting    and    signature  on
Commission’s copy of Admission Certificate. These are used for identity verification of the candidates.
12.   The candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination venue till the examination is over.
13.  The  candidates  are  advised  to  report  to  the  concerned  Regional  office/  Commission,  in  case  they  notice  any  irregularity  during  conduct  of  examination. The  identity  of  such
candidates will be kept confidential, if so needed.
14.   The candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the ‘Practice test’ and the ‘Exam. Walk­through module’ specially prepared for the Computer based examination.
Both would be available on the websites of the Commission and the Regional Offices.
15.   In case of any doubt or any clarification, the candidates are advised to contact the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission personally or through the helpline numbers /
e­mail.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPUTER BASED EXAMINATION
16.   On the Computer Screen available in front of you, you are required to type your Roll Number & PASSWORD as indicated in your Admit Card.
17.   Please read the Instruction Sheet carefully, then click on “I HAVE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS” .
18.   You will be required to go through a SAMPLE TEST before you access the Main Exam.
19.   You are requested to avoid touching the wires and cables as it could lead to the computer shutting down.
20.   In case you face any technical issue while logging into the examination or at any time during the examination, please contact the Invigilator immediately to address  the
issue.
21.   The Question Paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions with 4 options out of which only 1 is correct.
22.   The computer based exam will be bilingual. Questions and Answer options will appear in both, English and Hindi languages.
23.   There is a TIMER (Clock) available on the TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER of the Screen which will show you the time remaining for the completion of the exam.
24.   Every correct answer will get 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

25.    Only  one  question  will  be  displayed  on  the  computer  screen  at  a  time.  To  attempt  next  question  the  candidates  should  click  on    or  to  go  back  click  on
 button provided at the bottom of the screen.
26.        The questions can be answered in any order within the given time frame. The candidate should click with the mouse on the correct choice, from 4 options given. In case,
the candidate does not wish to attempt any question, it can be left blank.
27.   The candidate can change the option of a question later by selecting a new option in case he/she wishes to. In case candidate does not want to answer the question, he/she
can deselect the answer by clicking   provided against the question.

28.   To move back and forth between questions, candidates should use the    OR    button or  click  on  the  question  number  displayed  at  the
right side of the computer screen where question number would be displayed along with ‘ATTEMPTED’ or ‘NOT ATTEMPTED’ status.

29.   The answers will be saved whenever the candidate goes to the next question, by clicking on    OR     button.

30.   Candidates have the option to bookmark a question in case they want to review it at a later stage by clicking on the   button available at the bottom of the screen. The
Bookmark on a particular question can be removed by clicking on  .

31.   The question palette at the right of the screen shows the following status of each of the questions numbered.    You have answered the question (Green Box)     you

have not answered the question and marked for review (Amber Box.)     You have answered the question but marked for review (Violet Box)      You  have  not
answered the question (Blank Box)
32.   Questions which are attempted and marked for review would be treated as attempted questions if candidate does not    the option selected.

33.    On  the  completion  of  the  test  duration,  even  if  the  candidate  does  not  attempt  any  question  or  does  not  click  on  the        button,  a  NIL  result  will  be  saved
automatically by the computer.
34.    The  Candidates  will  only  be  able  to  submit  the  test  on  completion  of  the  stipulated  duration.  Otherwise  also,  the  system  will  automatically  submit  the  test  on  its  own  on
completion of the stipulated duration.
