The c

It was three AM. The party's fast paced style annoyed me all night but now it became unbearable. My
drunken party-partner was anything but a partner, so I decided to leave without telling him. Nobody
noticed my stride across the room, nobody noticed me leaving.
After fifteen minutes of straight walking I stopped suddenly. A small shadow crossed my gait, surprising
me and even for a brief moment, scaring me. The dull and black vessel jumped into some bushes that
were close. I was bold enough to pry into the bushes, searching for the silly orb that ceased my
homecoming. It turns out that it was just a dog. A little black dog that was jumping back and forth at three
AM. The creature had piercing black eyes, and a very distinguishable copper colored fur on its back. I
was so relieved when I saw it that I decided to approach without hesitation.
I’ve never been scared either of dogs or animals in general. I think if you respect their settled behaviors
you should be totally fine, but not at that moment. The little beast opened its mouth in a sign of warning
showing those colossal fangs, which were obviously too big in comparison with its body. This
disproportionate attribute bewildered me at first, and as the creature remained in that threatening
endeavor, I started to feel more and more confused.
Suddenly the canid ran between my legs, heading to the street. I followed it with my eyes without even
blinking. In a matter of seconds, a car passing by at excessive speed crashed the dog leaving it in
complete silence. As I got closer to the creature's body, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There was
no body, no blood, no death. Just a one of those black bags that we use to cover the trashcan.
The situation was so terribly strange that I froze. A car had to honk me in order to make me move off the
street. I looked the bag one more time, searching a way to relate it with the dog I’ve seen minutes ago, but
nothing seemed to fit in this creepy jigsaw. I resumed my way home and eventually got there. Until this
day I have nightmares involving this devilish giant canid, which its fangs are too big to not be afraid of it.
