There are seven parts of resume, first,

Name, Address, and Telephone Number, these should be on top for the companies to remember your
name. Next, the Job Objective, this is crucial because it informs the employer if there is a match
between the job vacancy and what you can offer. Next, the Education, list your educational attainment
or experience but in reverse chronological order, include a high GPA and any honors and awards
received. Next, the Skills, you need to highlight the main skills required of the position you are seeking.
Employers want to know what your skills are. Then, Work Experience and Communication Skills, again
list in reverse chronological order.

And lastly, references, it is not necessary to have references but if you do so just place there that
references are available upon request. Selection of Employees is a process of picking the right candidate
with prerequisite qualifications and capabilities to fill the jobs in the organization. Why selection process
is important? It is important because performance always depends in part on employees. Those who do
not have the right skills will not perform effectively and the overall performance effectively and the
overall performance in turn will suffer. The time to screen out undesirable performers is before they
become part of the organization, not after. Company objectives are better achieved by workers who
have been properly selected based on their qualifications. The process of selection includes, define the
job before hiring an employee, you need to define first the job before you will post hiring. Review
application form and credentials carefully, take note of the following information during your review of
application form, first, employment gaps, in this you need to check the gaps of the applicants, next,
spelling, grammar, and punctuation, then, evidence that a career has gone backwards or plateau, next,
failure to follow directions and lastly failing to include cover letter. You have to be responsible enough
so that the HR/ interviewer will not have a negative feedback about you. Next, employment interview, it
is a one on one isssion with the applicant and the interviewer to gain more insights about him/her.
