Grade 3 Level Lower intermediate

Date: 24/5 Lesson length: 45 minutes Lesson type Evaluation

Main aim: By the end of the lesson, students will have practised mixed tenses in sentences
that begin with the word 'when'.

Sub aim(s): Students will adapt to classroom English.

Personal aim(s): To become more familiar with the names of the students

Assumptions: Students will have covered the basic grammar in grade 2.

Materials: Running dictation sheets. Mini number cards (11-20, then the tens up to 100)

Anticipated difficulties with the tasks/classroom management (not related to language)

and solutions: Students may misunderstand the activity. Solution: Take care to prepare
multiple layers of demonstration. Demonstrate the questions stage with capable student and
encourage others to follow suit.
