THE EFFECT OF MP-ASI ON GROWTH AND GROWTH MOTOR

DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN AGED 6-24 MONTHS IN POSYANDU

ABSTRACT

Background: Complementary feeding is given when the baby is given 6 months.


The food provided must also be in accordance with the portion and nutrition
needed at that age. The MP-ASI given must have proportional reserves, protein,
fat, and vitamins and minerals. This is important for babies who are experiencing
a period of growth and development of infants (WHO, 2015).

Research Objectives: To study the effect of giving MP-ASI to motor growth and
development at the age of 6-24 months in Posyandu Mekarsari.

Research methods: Research that emphasizes the measurement / observation


of independent and dependent variable data only once at the same time.

Results of the study: The provision of appropriate MP-ASI can provide growth
and development of gross motor skills in children aged 6-24 months.

Conclusion: The influence of MP-ASI is very large on the growth and


development of gross motor skills in children aged 6-24 months.
