Legal/3rd Party training to continue until notified otherwise).

Action Plan during found any symptoms of COVID – 19:
 Any staff with flu-like symptoms are required to seek
medical advice (report to the Project Management) and
stay home until the symptoms have been eliminated.
• Any operative found with symptoms / Sign of COVID –
19 during the daily monitoring from the site shall be
accommodated in the Isolation room and mobilized
soon to the Hospital for further medical advice. If the
Doctor declared / advices for the COVID Test, the person
will be considered as Suspected Case and he must follow
self-quarantine for further 14 days. The matter must be
reported to the Project Management immediately.
• A Tracking Sheet has to be generated to identify the
contacted list of Primary (CAT B) and Secondary (CAT C)
of the Suspected person and Primary list of personnel
also must follow self-quarantine for further 14 days, to
break the chain. Secondary (CAT C) list of personnel shall
continue the normal work life. Therefore, Secondary
(CAT C) visits to the same site locations, or being in the
same room with keeping safe distance. Tracking sheet
shall be updated and submitted to Consultant and Client
for the information.
• Primary (CAT B) personnel are recommended to do
COVID Test and must follow self-quarantine for further
14 days.
• A deep Sanitization has to be conducted soon after the
Suspected case at project premises, Site Offices, welfare
areas, storerooms, washrooms, whole workplaces, etc.
No work/occupancy will be resumed until deep
sanitization.
• If an employee confirmed as Infected (CAT A) with
COVID 19, the following steps must be followed;

Deep clean the office/work area in the vicinity of the
employee's desk/work zone and any common areas of the
building (using appropriate PPE).
Transportation:
 Ensure buses are cleaned and disinfected daily between
pickups particular attention to hand holds, handles etc.
as well as seats, seatbelt. (Note: Records to be
maintained(.
 Display posters promoting handwashing techniques and
respiratory hygiene.
 Put sanitizing hand rub dispensers in prominent places in
buses parking bay and make sure these dispensers are
regularly refilled.
 Ensure that paper tissues are available at each bus, for
those who develop a runny nose or cough at journey,
along with closed bins for hygienically disposing of them.
 Employees/ travelers must be seated alone on each
chair in a zigzag shape and they must maintain 2-meter
distance between each other while boarding
or leaving the bus.
 Ensure rest rooms, ablutions and other facilities in buses
parking bay are cleaned regularly including taps and
handles of doors and waste bins a disposed/empty
appropriately.
 Social/Physical distancing amongst employees on buses
(if applicable) and during queuing etc.

Accommodations:
 Ensure the thorough cleaning regime is implemented
daily in all common areas paying particular attention to
door handles, taps, keyboards, mouse, telephones, gym
equipment, washrooms and showers, anything where
there is regular hand contact. (Wide scale disinfection
of facilities). Note: Records to be maintained.
 Display posters on notice boards (multiple languages)
promoting hands and respiratory hygiene combine this
with other communication measures such
as offering guidance from authorities, FM team,
briefing at meetings and authorized information on
the intranet etc.
 Accommodation camps to conduct routine health
surveillance of workers. Designated isolation room to
be provided for those showing symptoms (if any).
Digital/contactless thermometers to be utilized.
 Promote regular and thorough hand washing by all
employees.
 Ensure that sanitizing hand rub dispensers are fixed in
prominent places around the eating area, rest areas
and make sure these dispensers are regularly refilled.
 Ensure hygienic programs run on schedule and all
required supplies are purchased and available.
 Ensure the adequate quarantine rooms in every
Accommodation Camp / Site welfare area.
 Ensure the availability of Caterer serving crew
occupational health fitness certificates and PPE usage
at the Accommodation Camp.
 Ensure timing for in house clinic at Accommodation
Village has been extended and communicated to the
operatives.
 Digital, infrared forehead thermometer machines
available in all Accommodation Camps for checking
operatives returning from leave and residents showing
symptoms (spot checks/routine health surveillance also
being undertaken)
 Ensure the use of the Bio-metric clocking in system
(finger scanner) to cease until situation improves
(NOTE: face recognition/clocking in to continue).
Manual attendance to be arranged/coordinated by the
respective timekeepers.
 Social/ Physical distancing amongst employees.

Project Manager:
Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and
consideration of this procedure during the execution of the
project. He has to evaluate the necessity of the
implementation of this guideline based on the possible
conditions on Project site.

Site Manager:
Site Manager is responsible for the risk assessment and the
implementation and inspection of the compliance with this
procedure on site. He takes care to ensure the availability of
the prescribed preventive measures like, sufficient PPE,
Regular monitoring of the body temperature, Regular cleaning
both site office and site door handles, coordination with
subcontractors for the assurance of compliance, access
clearance and ventilations at work place, etc.
EHS Representative:
EHS Representative have the duty to monitor the adherence to
the legal obligations and to monitor personnel with regard to
indices of COVID 19. He shall support the site personnel during
the implementation of the same. He shall confirm the
availability of the adequate quantity of suitable PPEs and
monitor for the strict compliance of the usage of the same at
work places.
Supervisors:
All supervisors are responsible for the implementation of this
specifications;
• For implementation of all measures defined in the risk
assessment
• For observing the employees under his direct control for
symptoms of COVID-19
• Ensure the availability and usage of PPE like facemask,
hand gloves and face protection
Implementation of Plan:
 The above plan will be briefed to all the workforce
including staff through the Tool Box Talk.
 As a main contractor, Siemens shall be conducted a
specific training and encourage to all subcontractors
to perform periodically.
 COVID - 19 risk assessment to be performed and
briefed to all workforce at site
Emergency Response Procedure:
In case of any COVID – 19 confirmed; the following steps to be
performed.
 Implementation of Action Plan which is referred in this
Procedure- section 5.1
 Alert to emergency team
 Report to the Siemens Project Management, Client
and other local Authority.
 Follow the instruction and clearance from the local
authority and client to proceed the work
