WEEK 4 TASK

PREPARE A SIMPLE GUIDELINE (FOR TEACHERS) ON HOW TO CONDUCT ENGLISH

TITLE: MR LEAF MAN

1. Show student the sample cover of a Leaf Man. Ask the student what they think the picture on
the cover is.

2. Ask the student to identify what Leaf Man is made of.

3. Have student thinks of where Leaf Man has been. Does he go to school? Where does he live?

4. Make note of the different colours, shapes and sizes of each leaf that makes up Leaf Man with
the help of your class.

5. Tell students that today they will learn about Leaf Man, create their own Leaf Person and tell
story about it.

6. And each student need to collect various leaves of different shapes and colours to use in their
craft project.

7. Give each student a piece of paper.

8. Allow student to pick a handful of leaves to glue together to create their own leaf man. Let
them be creative!

9. When they are finished, glue on two googly eyes and draw a smile.

10. Ask students to name their Leaf Man and write it on the bottom of their page.

11. Now, have each student come to the front of the room to introduce their Leaf Man to the
class. Have them share one fun fact about their Leaf Man.
