2.1 General

2.3 Installation and Cable Connection

Installation of USB wireless card:
Dimension: (unit: mm) Firstly power off the router, insert SIM/UIM card into the wireless card and
connect the corresponding antenna to it. Then insert the wireless card into the
router.
Installation of antenna:
Screw the SMA female pin of the WIFI antenna to the male SMA interface
of the router with sign “WIFI”.
Warning: The antennas must be screwed tightly, or the signal quality of
antenna will be influenced!
Installation of cable:
Insert one end of the network cable into the switch interface with sign “Local
Network”, and insert the other end into the Ethernet interface of user’s device.

2.5 Reset Button Introduction

The router has a “Reset” button to reboot system or restore it to its original

Before configuration, you should connect the router and your configuration

255.255.255.0 and set the default gateway of PC as the router’s IP address
(192.168.1.1).
3.2 Access the Configuration Web Page
Start a web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the Address (URL) field (The
Default IP Address of the Ethernet port is 192.168.1.1). It will prompt a login
page. The default username and password are both “admin”. Please input the
username and password login to access the configuration pages.

3.3 Internet Settings
3.3.1 Operation Mode
Input the IP address, subnet mack, default gateway, and DNS

Server(optional) assigned by the provider.
Bridge: All Ethernet and wireless interfaces are bridged into a single bridge
interface.
Gateway: The first Ethernet port is treated as WAN port. The other Ethernet
ports and the wireless interface are bridged together and are treated
as LAN ports.
NAT Enabled: Enable or disable Network Address Translation.
3.3.2 WAN Settings

You may choose different connection type suitable for your environment.
Besides, you may also configure parameters according to the selected
connection type. If connecting the users on an Ethernet to the Internet through a common
broadband medium, you can choose “PPPoE(ADSL)”.
UserName: username used to login your ISP(Internet Service Provider).
Password: password used to login your ISP.
Keep Alive: Set up the redial period after the disconnection.
Normally, The Internet IP Address of the router is allocated by the ISP On demand Mode: If there is no communication for the specified time, it will
automatically, you can also set the hostname in the WEB. disconnect the connection automatically.

MTU: the size of the largest protocol data unit that the layer can pass onwards.
This function is used to detect whether the Internet connection is active, if

you set it and when the router detect the connection is inactive ,it will redial to
you ISP immediately to make the connection active.
ping: Send ping packet to detect the connection, when choose this method,
you should also configure the items.
traceoute: Detect connection with route method, when choose this method,
you should also configure the items.
MAC Clone: Set the MAC address filled to wide area network. If you click
“Auto Fill”, the MAC address of the PC connected with is entered.
Profile List: Parameter list of 3G.
UserName: username used to login your ISP(Internet Service Provider) 3.3.3 Lan Settings
Password: password used to login your ISP You may enable/disable networking functions and configure their

Statically Assigned: Assign the static IP address to the specified MAC address.

3.3.5 Qos
You may setup rules to provide Quality of Service guarantees for specific
applications.
Quality of service is the ability to provide different priority to different
applications, users, or data flows, or to guarantee a certain level of performance
to a data flow.
3.4 Wireless Settings
3.4.1 Basic
You could configure the minimum number of Wireless settings for
communication, such as Network Name (SSID) and Channel. The Access Point
can be set simply with only the minimum setting items.
Radio On/Off: Enable or disable WIFI function.

Network Mode:
11b/g mixed mode: It provides backward compatibility with the slower Operating Mode:
802.11b wireless devices while still enabling 802.11g communications. Mixed Mode: 11n APs and a mixed 11n/g/b environment.
11b only: It supports the slower 802.11b wireless mode only. Green Field: A pure network of 802.11n APs and clients.
11g only: It supports the 802.11g wireless mode only. Channel Bandwidth: Which bandwidth communicates withs. It communicates at
11b/g/n mixed mode: It provides backward compatibility with the slowerhigher speed than the time selecting “20” when you select “20/40”.
Guard Interval: Guard Interval used to ensure that distinct transmissions do not
802.11n wireless devices while still enabling 802.11g/802.11b communications.
Network Name(SSID): Service Set Identifier which is also known as the interfere with one another.
MCS: Various modulation schemes and coding rates are defined by the
wireless network name, A value of up to 32 alphanumeric characters.

3.4.2 Advanced Fragment Threshold: The maximum frame size wireless device can transmit

increase the delivered bandwidth in community networks.
Country Code: The settings control the channels the card can operate on, as
well as maximum transmission power.
BG Protection Mode: The B/G protection technology is CTS-To-Self. It will try to

reserve the throughput for 11g clients from 11b clients connecting to the
device.
Beacon Interval: Synchronize the wireless network sent from AP in uniformly WMM Capable: Provide the basic quality on the wireless network complied with

3.5 Firewall Settings
3.5.1 MAC/IP/Port Filtering

malicious activity on the Internet.
Security Mode: Enable security mode could prevent any unauthorized access
to your wireless network.

3.6 Administration Settings
3.6.1 Management
You may configure administrator account and password, NTP settings, and
Dynamic DNS settings here.
Current Time: Display the current time. Synchronize the time with PC while click
“Sync with host”.
Time Zone: Select the time zone at your local time.
NTP Server: Input the IP address or the host name of the time server. Make
