Polytechnics have requested this office to continue their old Service Registers to retain service benefits, such as different types of leaves accrued, pay protection, continuing old service for pension benefits etc. under reference 4th to 14th cited ‘The attention of the Principals of all Govt. Polytechnics is invited to this Office Circular Memo. 3rd cited (copy enclosed for ready reference), wherein instructions had been issued to the Principals of all Govt. Polytechnics to take action in accordance with the clarification issued by the Government in their Memo. 2nd cited, to apply A.P. Revised Pension Rules, 1980, new Contributory Pension Scheme introduced w.e. 01.09.2004, as the case may be, GPF, APGLI & Employee ID in respect of Lecturers, who earlier worked in other Departments, where the above Pension Schemes are applicable and subsequently on selection by APPSC joined this Department. Hence, the Principals of all the Govt. Polytechnics are instructed to take action as per the clarification /instructions issued in the references 2nd and 3rd cited and to make necessary entries in the service registers of individuals to the above effect.
