STAT630: Advanced Data Analysis

Interim Assessment, Second Semester 2019/2020

Task
Kindly refer to the main textbook of the course “Kutner, M. H., Nacht-
sheim, C. J., Neter, J. and Li, W. (2005). Applied Linear Statistical
Models. 5th Ed. New York: McGraw-Hill Irwin”. This is an individual
work and therefore individual reports are required. However, two students are
assigned to the same set of assignments to solve using R software. The datasets
required are uploaded on SAKAI for download. The duration of this assignment
is 3 weeks. In the first week, students are advised to revise Chapter 6-11 of the
above-mentioned textbook and the lecture slides. The other two weeks should
be devoted to running the analysis and writing a short report.
