Testimony Evaluation

Remember that we are going to be intentionally tough on each other—not because we

don’t care about feelings. We want to help each other refine our stories so that we can be
very effective when we tell them. Our aim is to make each other more effective.
Remember, this evaluation is not about you! It is about the people with whom you will
share the story. We all need help in refining our stories!

Time:

1. Look at the person’s body language and listen to their voice. Do these communicate
excitement and belief in the individual story?

2. Do you hear the Gospel presentation clearly?

3. Is there any part of the story that does not make sense to you?

4. Are there any terms that might disqualify a person from listening, such as certain
denominations, specific ministries, etc?

5. Did the person use any “churchy” words?

6. Are there any other suggestions you have that would make the story more succinct?
