How is UPI fraud It starts when someone repeatedly asks you to pay UPI instead of cash. Many times these fraudsters send a link to
request money via message and as soon as you click on it, they transfer the money from your account to their account. Fraud is also done
through OTP and UPI Pin Often, these fraudsters ask for one-time passwords and UPI PINs. After getting the OTP and UPI PIN, it becomes
easy to withdraw money from any account. Keep in mind that you do not need your OTP to transfer money anytime, do not tell OTP or UPI
PIN to anyone. How to avoid these fraud It is not always necessary to have a UPI app right on Google play store or Apple store. Before
downloading any such app, get to know about it better, read its review and do not download such app from any third party website. Also,
never share your account details, OTP, UPI PIN with anyone at any cost because when someone takes money from you or puts money in
your account, they do not need any OTP, UPI PIN. .
