1. You are going to read some information fro, the WHO (World Health
Organization) about asthma. What are the symptoms and causes of asthma?
Work in pairs and discuss.
Answer : The symptoms are a ‘tight’, chest, coughing, wheezing and dificulty
in breathing.
The causes of asthma are not completely understood. It is hereditary (it run in
family and is passed from parent to child) and is linked wit allergies.
