THE GAMES OF DESTINY (ANALYSIS)

This movie is about a boy with bipolar disorder who upon discovering his wife being
unfaithfull to his history teacher hit him in the bathtub hard to the death . Pat was admitted to
the mental hospital frm which he left at eight months ,in the hospital he met dani who ran
away several times after pat left.
After leaving the hospital pat’s intentios were to reconcile with his wife Nikki. Pat had to
take therapy to continue living outside the mental hospital at her parents’ house . At the time
of going to therapy he heard the song of his wedding with Nikki , the same one that was
playing when he murdered the history teacher, this caused him an attack of violence.
Pat did not have a good relationship with his father who suffered from obsessive and
compulsive disorder, it bothered him that his father was irritating and perfectionist. One night
Pat went to dinner at the house of neighbors Ronny and Veronica, where she met Tiffany,
Veronica's sister, with whom she shared her mental disorders. Pat and Tiffany managed to
help each other out of past trauma.
